Acting

There are three different types of acting that we focus on at Creative Talent:

Commercial, Situation Comedy, and Film

Commercial acting is the art of creating a character that is believable to sell your product to the consumer. Television commercials have become far and a way the most effective, most pervasive and most popular method of selling products of all sorts. Directors and producers look for all ethnicities, sizes and characteristics to market their products out to all types of Consumers. Because television commercials are the number one advertising tool in the world, it is essential that casting directors find the right person to promote these products.

Situation comedy is a humorous television program based on situations that could arise in everyday life. Acting on a television shows does not require selling of a product. This acting is for pure audience enjoyment. It is important that you as an actor are able to deliver a believable character that your audience can relate to. Understanding how to work on a set with other actors, several cameras and props is very important. Casting directors from major television networks look for an actor who poses these acting skills.

Film acting is a form of entertainment that enacts a story by a sequence of images giving the illusion of continuous movement with an intriguing story line. Directors and producers typically cast actors with prior experience for main character roles. It is common to cast in commercial and sitcom roles prior to being cast in a motion picture.
